The Fabulous Foxhunter caravan park was founded in 1979 by the Saunders family, and to this day is still an independent family run park. Set amongst exotic Mediterranean gardens and close to all seaside attractions, wonderful beaches and charming Kentish villages. Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and relax on a true holiday park jewel in Kent's lovely countryside. The Fabulous Foxhunter experience starts as soon as you enter the park. On the left is the parks reception office set in a magnificent water garden adorned by mature 30f high palm trees, waterfalls, 17th century Italian statues, flock of white doves and brightly coloured pink flamingo. In addition to the pink flamingo in the water gardens, the park also has other beautiful creatures, huge Kio carp shimmer in the ponds, peacocks strut around the grassed areas, and ducks and geese can be seen here to. Owners can also bring their pet dog(s) along with them, however they must be kept on a lead at all times and exercised off the park.
 The
Fabulous Foxhunter offers a terrific Sunday carvery at a very reasonable
price. The food is very well prepared and usually on the menu is a choice of
beef, pork, or turkey. The Foxhunter also has a very classy restaurant just
adjacent to the main hall and offers a variety of dishes to sample, but why
not also have a meal or light snack served to your table next to the heated
swimming pool when the weather permits - The choice is yours
The Foxhunter club is located to the right as you enter the park and next to the glorious outdoor heated swimming pool. The Foxhunter club is the hub of the community for all to enjoy. Please check the entertainment page as management do reserve the right to change events at short notice however there have been and are still some fantastic live events for young and old to enjoy. The end of season party 2008 kicked off with the Blue Brothers, and throughout this year we have been entertained by the following acts; Grease Tribute, Henry Smith's Country Dreams, Blondie Tribute, Madonna Tribute, Electric Beatles, Elvis tribute - "That's the way it was", Life of Brian, Gary Godmaze as Queen - as see on TV's Stars in your eyes, Poison Iny, The coral reef Steel Band played out the Caribbean Night, Super Seventies - glam rock, EK1 and lots more. The Foxhunter club is very family orientated and the kids will enjoy around 7pm every night a mini disco, tell Les (Entertainments Manager) a joke or sing a song, children's free Bingo, and more. You can order from the bar menu till 10pm, play pool, Bingo, and a widescreen television which is switched on for major sporting occasions if requested by home owners. The bar staff are dressed impeccably, are very friendly and will during quiet spells come to your table and offer to get you a drink. What underpins the Fabulous Foxhunter club is to have FUN. |
